*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

Well thats fudged it, takes off the best finisher in the league after setting up his team to not feed him. He really does shoot himself in the foot does Pep.

Utd have been very good too, to be fair.
I know people will say new manager bounce but United fans will be scratching their heads. United look organized, energized and have a plan.

The only caveat is City are unique...we've had plenty of games where if you go for them in the right areas...they'll then leave themselves massively vulnerable at the back...and results like this will happen.

Trust Amorin to fudge off before this game.

Yes they look very well organised, and well up for it. Something we haven't been in some of our recent derbies. Hopefully, we can put that right today.

If Man Utd can put together a run of performances like that, they’ll finish 2nd. No cups, just 16 league games to go all in on that style.

Utd looking half decent in the first quarter of this match. What does Carrick's managerial CV look like?
Didn't watch the game, but had predicted United would win. It's so typical of them! After sacking a manager, they always play like prime Real Madrid, especially if they are up against a big team. Happens every time!
They'll revert back to type next weekend, and lose 7-0 vs Arsenal.

Glasner is not a happy chappy

He'll be gone by the morning after that interview.

What I would say....is clubs are selling big players all the time....I wouldn't dress it up so emotionally...just makes you sound a bit flakey. This is football... players, managers, come and go, and the reasons they do, are multiple.
