Carragher saying their title charge is over if they lose here tonight.

Cant agree with that bearing in mind City go to Brighton tomorrow and we host Arsenal next. If they both drop points of any kind it's back on.

I would say it is if City and Arsenal both win

It's not over until it's mathematically impossible. That's how they have to look at it surely. No easy games for any sides.

we've seen a similar effect before at other clubs

flip side is, maybe this is just regression to the mean, they were like this for the first couple of months of the season tooI think, wonder what happened to give them that mid season bump...
