The Official 2019/20 Premier League Thread

Man Utd XI: de Gea, Wan Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Pereira, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.

Subs: Mata, Young, James, Romero, Greenwood, Matic, Tuanzebe.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson, Jorginho, Kovacic, Pedro, Barkley, Mount, Abraham.

Subs: Alonso, Kante, Caballero, Kenedy, Giroud, Pulisic, Tomori.

I think that back four of United could be interesting and a key for United's season. If Maguire can get an understanding with Lindelof, that would be an excellent start for Solskjaer, as the other options don't look good. Then we need to see if Wan Bissaka is a good signing and if Shaw can show the potential of several years ago. Lots of ifs, but it could work. The the midfield and forwards look less promising from the United perspective.

What happened to United and Chelsea? i can only see 1 person out of them starting 11's that would possibly get into our team.

Early days, but Fat Frank could be well and truly out of his depth at Chelski.

That Chelsea lineup is midtable at best. Looks like the transfer ban has really hurt them, but it will be interesting to see if Roman actually wants to fund a proper rebuild or is ready to pack it in.
