This is what I've got so far:

Compared to the same fixtures last season:

+5 Liverpool
+4
+3 Aston Villa, Southampton, Cardiff (*compared to Wigan)
+2 Tottenham, Swansea, Fulham, Hull (*compared to Reading)
+1 Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Stoke
0 Manchester Utd
-1 Everton, Norwich, Crystal Palace (*compared to QPR)
-2 Chelsea
-3 Arsenal, Emirates Marketing Project, Sunderland, West Ham
-4
-5 West Brom

Compared to the table after 3 games last season:

+8 Liverpool
+7
+6
+5
+4 Tottenham, Southampton
+3 Stoke
+2 Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Hull, Norwich
+1 Arsenal
0 Cardiff, Fulham, Saudi Sportswashing Machine
-1 Emirates Marketing Project
-2 Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham
-3 Everton
-4 Sunderland, Swansea
-5
-6 West Brom

+4 is pretty damn good.

We have 6 points after 3 games. This time last year we had 2 points. If we repeat exactly the same results as last term for our remaining games and even if Arsenal repeat their phenomenal end of season form and do the same-we finish above them.

I personally believe our performances have already improved on last season and will continue to improve and we will finish comfortably in the top 3.

5 Liverpool
4 Tottenham
3 Aston Villa, Hull
2 Everton, Swansea
1 Stoke, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Cardiff
0 Manchester United, Fulham
-1 Crystal Palace
-2 Norwich
-3 Emirates Marketing Project, Arsenal, West Ham, Sunderland
-4 West Brom
-5 Chelsea

Compared to the same number of games:

8 Liverpool
7
6
5 Southampton
4 Tottenham
3 Hull, Stoke
2 Crystal Palace, Norwich
1 Arsenal
0 Cardiff, Saudi Sportswashing Machine
-1 Aston Villa, Everton, Emirates Marketing Project
-2 Fulham, Manchester United, West Ham
-3 Chelsea
-4 Swansea
-5 Sunderland
-6 West Brom

Swansea - Liverpool tonight ended in a lovely 0-0 last season. A repeat seems likely considering the league so far.

6 Southampton, Tottenham
5
4
3 Aston Villa, Hull
2 Everton, Liverpool, Swansea
1 Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Stoke
0 Cardiff, Emirates Marketing Project
-1 Crystal Palace, Fulham
-2 Norwich
-3 Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Sunderland, West Ham
-4 West Brom

Which would give us this table:

Man Utd 86
Emirates Marketing Project 78
Tottenham 78
Chelsea 72
Arsenal 70
Everton 65
Liverpool 63
Swansea 48
Southampton 47
West Brom 45
Aston Villa 44
West Ham 43
Stoke 43
Fulham 42
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 42
Norwich 42
Sunderland 36
Cardiff 36
Hull 31
Crystal Palace 24

Compared to the same number of games:

8 Liverpool
7
6 Hull
5 Southampton
4 Tottenham
3 Arsenal, Stoke
2 Aston Villa
1 Cardiff, Crystal Palace, Emirates Marketing Project, Norwich
0 Swansea
-1 Everton, Saudi Sportswashing Machine
-2
-3 Chelsea, West Ham
-4
-5 Fulham, Manchester United, West Brom
-6 Sunderland

So Arsenal top of the league are actually 3 points worse off this season against the same opposition? Is that because they have had an easy run (our game aside)??

This is how things are looking so far compared to last season.

Our results last year in the corresponding games

H WEST HAM 3-1
A ASTON VILLA 4-0
H HULL (=READING) 3-1
A EVERTON 1-2
H Saudi Sportswashing Machine 2-1
A Emirates Marketing Project 1-2

Compared with the same matches last season I have the following:-

11 Southampton
10
9
8
7
6
5
4 Tottenham, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Hull
3 Everton, Saudi Sportswashing Machine
2
1 Swansea, Norwich
0 West Brom, West Ham
-1 Emirates Marketing Project, Cardiff
-2 Stoke, Fulham
-3
-4 Crystal Palace, Sunderland
-5 Arsenal, Chelsea
-6 Manchester United

If all the remaining matches went the same way as last year we would get this final table at the end of the season:

Man Utd 83
Emirates Marketing Project 77
Tottenham 76
Chelsea 70
Arsenal 68
Everton 66
Liverpool 65
Southampton 52
West Brom 49
Swansea 47
West Ham 46
Aston Villa 45
Norwich 45
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 44
Fulham 41
Stoke 40
Sunderland 35
Cardiff 35
Hull 32
Crystal Palace 21

Meant to post this last week, so they're not updated with today's results.

Here's comparison graphs for all clubs: http://www.glory-glory.co.uk/entry.php/2418-The-2013-14-Fixture-Comparison-Blog

So we are +4 for same opponents but minus 1 for the same number of games.

Upcoming fixtures:

Opponent Points 12/13 Last season Points
Aston Villa (A) 3 Chelsea (H) 0
Hull (H) 3 (Reading) Southampton (A) 3
Everton (A) 0 Wigan (H) 0
Saudi Sportswashing Machine (H) 3 Emirates Marketing Project (A) 0
Emirates Marketing Project (A) 0 Arsenal (A) 0

We hit a bad patch last term losing 4 in 5. I am worried about the Villa fixture. If we can get past Sunday unbeaten I will be happy and we will have at least the same amount of points as after 8 last term.

The interesting thing is that Arsenal are -5 for the same opponents. They won every one of their games against the same teams last season.
