Let's just take one game at a time. All games are winnable. And it's possible to lose all of them. I just hope we keep up the performances of late, and if we do that, we'll win more than we lose.On paper these are winnable games. How many points are we going to take leading in to the North London Derby.

Got to be 9 or 10 points the way the team is shaping up... more would be amazing
How many times do we have to beat a good team and play well. Only to play crap the next game against a week team. Before people stop counting chickens?

We were bottom of the league days ago.Are you watching performances or results? This feels like a squad building identity and purpose like the early Poch days.

It will be a mish mash of results - for all our good play yesterday we created little, a wonder individual goal and a gift stopped it from being a draw, we can't count on similar every week and until we sort that out results we be on a knife edge.
Again, are you watching the performances.
For the second week in a row we created several clear opportunities. Marmoush missed a chance someone of his calibre has to put away, Kudus missed another very strong chance you'd expect to be on frame, and Madders hesitate when played through/made the wrong decision to chop back in.
We need one of Solanke or Marmoush to hit some sort of form, and then we need a proper striker in January (obviously we need more goals from the team in general). At this point last season our CBs were bailing us out with unexpected goals.
I know it's a small sample size, but over the last three games we have conceded two and scored six. We are most certainly heading in the right direction, but obviously, we need to have a winning performance against Palace who are going to be increasingly desperate.
Yes. Points are what count though and even coventry and utd 2nd half we weren't great.
We played really well against chelsea. But i've seen us play really well against city only to get spanked by Burnley.
I don't think a loss is the end of the world, i don't think a great win means we're amazing. I'll take each game as it comes and not count points before we earned them.
We didn't really create clear opportunities in the last couple of games and relied on long rangers and a fantastic solo effort - that's great that we're capable of pulling those types of goals out of the bag but I'd be a lot more confident seeing several of the Marmoush v Chelsea type chance each game as it shows our final third play is producing the goods, not using ifs buts and maybes to say we could have had more than one of those chances because while that is true, every team has those moments in games including the opposition we have been up against.
I agree re January but that's not much use when discussing the next 5 games, as it stands we're looking for chance creation to improve in order to maintain this upward momentum. Xg of under 1 in our last 2 wins is unsustainable - which is why i say our upcoming results will be up and down - we will dominate matches/play well in most i am sure, but in order to to bring the points home consistently you need the goals & chances.
I reckon 212 is likely from our next 5, but that could just as easily be 320 or 131, such is the question marks over our goal supply.
I am not going to alter your perspective, so will not try to.
