It depends on the set up around themPersonally I’m happy with Bentancur and Gray as our two no.6s. Think a lot of people underrate Bentancur defensively.

Harvey Elliott: Liverpool winger suspended for 14 days over Harry Kane video
Liverpool's Harvey Elliott is banned from all domestic club football for 14 days after admitting using derogatory language about Tottenham's Harry Kane in a video.www.bbc.co.uk
It was around (social media) hence why we know about itThank goodness that SnapChat wasn’t in widespread use back when James Maddison was 16 years old and Tweeting about Bale being a monkey!
I wouldn't really want Sarr or Bergvall to sit closer to them. That could easily be a restriction on the best part of their games.Just a double pivot will sort it. Either of them, with Bergvall or Sarr directed to sit closer to them.
SnapChat would have been better for these youngsters? The messages disappear.Thank goodness that SnapChat wasn’t in widespread use back when James Maddison was 16 years old and Tweeting about Bale being a monkey!
Him and "madders" would be best mates and doing the darts celebration in no time.Shame he is a bit of chavvy scum bag because he is a player
Well it's the box-to-box role. So they should be in tight next to the other CM when we are defending, and bursting into the opposition box when we are attacking.I wouldn't really want Sarr or Bergvall to sit closer to them. That could easily be a restriction on the best part of their games.

Still think we'd struggle with balance in midfield personally.Just a double pivot will sort it. Either of them, with Bergvall or Sarr directed to sit closer to them.

Even in a double pivot a more natural "6" is a good thing. Neither Bentancur or Sarr are that (so far). If it's those two we'd probably still struggle with ball progression against a high press. Bergvall may be enough to fix that, but not a natural 6 either (so far) and 19 years old.
A natural 6 who is also a very good passer and ball progressor would be fantastic for us. If that player is possible to get is a different question.
Yeah, good example. Different profile, but Fabinho before him was also excellent and imo underrated on the ball. It's the Gravenberch impact we need. I didn't see that happening at Pool until it happened. Klopp used him as a sub and then Slot made him first team stalwart in behind Macallister and Szoboszlai. He had a huge impact.
That makes me hope that perhaps some of ours can adapt with the right guidance.
Was a game changer for them last year in an area of weakness in their squad. They did also want the sociedad guy who was signing for arsenal after turning down Liverpool (Zumbamendi) so clearly even pool thought they needed someoneYou wouldn't have thought it but I have seen Liverpool fans a few days ago on Twitter mentioning that they need a better DM that can start attacks and play out better than Gravenberch. some of them are complaining that he is good at dribbling out of tight spaces but not great at passing etc.
I haven't paid enough attention to him to know how true that is but they make him sound like Bissouma lol
Gravenberch played 6 for Ajax and Bayern previously. It wasn't a totally new role for him.Yeah, good example. Different profile, but Fabinho before him was also excellent and imo underrated on the ball.
But more of that role suiting Gravenberch in addition to him adapting imo. They're rare, particularly at a very good level, but a natural 6 makes a huge difference. Particularly if it's someone good both on the ball and defensively.
We have players that I can see developing into that player, but not sure if any of them are ready for that this season.
That's what I thought too. Thanks.Gravenberch played 6 for Ajax and Bayern previously. It wasn't a totally new role for him.
