Langer is a prick.I would like Langer or Shastri as the new head coach
and how the hell has Key survived as well, he is the main problem

Was watching it yesterday and they commented on for a Saturday the crowds not being there. I don't get it, as the lineups in terms of player quality is as good as I've ever seen it in this country. The irony of the Hundred, looks absolutely dead in the water, likely to be a LIV golf project and its taken itself down whilst also killing off a highly successful T20 Blast
Friends with the old Sussex CEO and we had a chat a couple of weeks back, his opinion isWas watching it yesterday and they commented on for a Saturday the crowds not being there. I don't get it, as the lineups in terms of player quality is as good as I've ever seen it in this country.
What is the issue?
I don't follow cricket, although I do like the game, I suspect it's similar to golf, which I do play and love. Was watching it yesterday and they commented on for a Saturday the crowds not being there. You also turn them off and they take their kids with them.Big problem is you turn off the older generation, it's no longer the game they loved.
Yeah what @MartyFunkhouser laid out above makes total sense.I don't follow cricket, although I do like the game, I suspect it's similar to golf, which I do play and love.
It's too long for the modern generation and the governing bodies want to "grow the game" so come up with "more relevant advances".
Problem is the young aren't really that interested, the ones that are initially interested fade away (it what kids do) and you are left with those who would have gravitated to it regardless.
