The all new Juniors/on-loan thread 2013/14

I guess it was obvious from the way the squad numbers were announced, but it seems like Fryers is now officially a member of the first team squad.

Carroll and Townsend are there too, but none of the other "potentials" have broken onto that page of the OS yet (e.g. Kane or Falque)

That makes sense. Carroll, Townsend and Fryers are far far closer to first team/PL standard that Kane or Falque

Spurs U21s play West Ham United at the Boleyn Ground (that's Upton Park to you) at 19:00 this evening.

The young Spurs currently head the Premier League Table with the maximum 6 points after wins against Chelsea and Emirates Marketing Project.

West Ham are also going well in second place after wins against Everton & Aston Villa.

Somethings going to give tonight!

Under-21 Premier League Season 2013-14

Lewis Holtby is in the U21 squad for tonight, great to have him back from injury, guess he'll need some time to get fully fit.
Much younger and inexperienced squad this time around, if you look past Simon Dawkins that is :)

It won't be that much longer before Simon Dawkins gets a testimonial match, despite never having played for Tottenham's first XI.

Nice one! Great news that Lewis is returning to fitness.

Sandro, Holtby, Ade, err Bale..who needs a Brazilian who is not good enough for a squad place for the national side?

23: GOAL!

The Hammers are in front, as Dan Potts stabs home from close range.

A short corner finds its way to Lee, who sends it toward the far post, where the skipper is on hand to prod beyond Vigouroux. 1-0!

Goal to West Ham.

Moncur's corner headed back into danger area by Ruddock and Lletget there to nod home.

HT: West Ham 0-2 Spurs

GOAL!

Dawkins broke through centrally, shot deflected off McCartney and left Spiegel with no chance.

1-2, 56mins.

66 mins: Goal.

Holtby has been excellent all evening long and levels the scores with a brilliant curling finish from all of 25 yards.

Not much Spiegel could do about that.

Ironically, the Hammers' stopper had just palmed one away from Holtby, but Spurs kept it alive and got their reward.

Game on.

GOAL!!!!

Lameiras clever dink to Coulthirst, who volleyed home from close range.

2-0 down to 3-2 up! 86mins

All over. West Ham 2 - 3 Spurs. Dawkins, Holtby and Coulthirst with the Spurs goals.
