The Academy, NextGen, U18 & U21 Premier League and On-Loan Thread

17 mins: GOAL 2-0 SPURS. A quick fire double, Pritchard has the ball out wide, he turns inside and drills home from a tight angle for 2-0

41 mins: Goal to Southampton. A corner is cleared to the edge of the area and Reeves shoots through a crowded box to make it 2-1.

Fingers crossed that's true. Really hope he can get a few first team minutes off the bench this season

Yeah, crossing my fingers too...

I have been thinking for some time that maybe his complete absence from the first team even in EL games has been because he's been on a short term contract. Thought he was one of the players closest to making the step up and surprised he hasn't been around the first team when he wasn't loaned out.

Thought Coulthirst had gone out on loan, certainly scores a lot of goals. Hopefully he can make it.

Also Cabellos is meant to be brick hot, maybe see him break through next season too.

Assume you're thinking of:

Souleymane Coulibaly has joined Italian Serie B side US Grosetto on loan until the end of the season.

Tom Carroll was a disaster at Derby. The fans were screaming for him to be dropped and their results picked up when he finally was. But he looks a decent little player for us, when surrounded by quality as opposed to dross.

So we can't read too much into Kane's underwhelming performances for Norwich. Could be that he's just not suited to the club or to the team's style of play. He did well at Millwall last season. He's only just back from a fairly long term injury. And he's still only 19. Too early to write him off yet.

Was Carroll not played as a winger at Derby?
