The Academy, NextGen, U18 & U21 Premier League and On-Loan Thread

was a header, would have been tinkled had he not scored but he was in position to score which is good

Cheers.

A goal and almost two full games in his first two games for them is good going. Always good for the players to get a good start on loan so that they get more game time.

His last loan in the Championship was for a struggling team, right? And he still got a good goal return? Hopefully for promotion chasing Leicester he'll get even more.

Kane a very good addition IMHO. He and Woody looked like a good partnership.

Kane fits right in and should complement Nugent and Wood well enough.

Kane holds the ball up well

Kane is a very useful player to have, and should have even scored another.

Wood and Kane put themselves about. Similar players who best attribute is probably their football brain.

Kane looks a useful addition up front, decent header for the goal and general hold up play was bright along with Wood.

A few post match comments about Kane from the Leicester forum.

Harry Kane start for Leicester City
Jonathan Obika in Charlton's starting line up as well - we should like this Charlton team: David Button, Dorian Dervite, Johnnie Jackson, Jonathan Obika :)

Stuff of dreams. What could have been...

I attended the game today, only just got in recently.

Im not really good at writing match reports so will just give basics.

- Livermore was outstanding, he was so composed and didnt put a foot wrong all afternoon.
- Naughton was another good performer. Again, well composed and great in the air.
- Obika was fairly greedy, but you can let him off considering he scored twice.
- Kane quiet but still in the build up for the second goal, nodding a header onto the bar.
- Dawson made an appearance for 15 minutes! (Not to play though, he just came to watch for a bit. Never knew he was that tall!!)
- Spurs U21's were a cut above Man United. The difference was clear to see. The possession stats would be interesting if they are collected, but from what I saw we bossed it.

Just noticed that brief highlights were uploaded to Tottenham' YouTube account last week, looks like Obika has been credited with all 3 of our goals.
