The 2015/16 Results Comparison Thread

That's where we'd end up if we matched last season's results for the remaining games. So far we've improved by 4 points.
Frightening to see how awful it could still turn out if suddenly things start going all their way and totally pear-shaped for us.

Let's not kid ourselves, this season still has one hell of a long way to go.

Yes, but with so few games left the potential swing is quite big. A good run for us now and there's no time for a poor run to equal it out. Or vice versa for Arsenal, lose a couple of home bankers and things suddenly look a lot worse.

79 Arsenal (+4)
...
68 Tottenham (+4)
Jord is this claiming that the Goons will finish 11 points ahead of us, if the remaining fixtures pan out like last year's equivalents?
We're 6 points ahead having played one more, so 3 ahead if they win that game in hand.
That means they'll get 14 points more than us.
With 7 games to play.
So if we get 7 they'll get 21??? Huh?

It is based on their games last season. At this stage last season, Arsenal went on a 8 game winning spree. Spurs lost quite a number during that period.

Arsenal always finishes strongly. They are the kinda of club that you must be way in front of during a race. They do much better as all clubs do when there is no pressure.

Ta. Let's hope that last year's results bear little relation to this year's results, and the above shambolic list of "teams" can muster some backs-to-the-wall results

We got 7 points from the remaining corresponding 7 games last season.
I will be VERY disappointed if we do not do a LOT better.
This is the NEW Spurs.
Lets go SMASH these guys
