Great half from us

Right at the end Romero headed the ball away then decided to go chase it himself. Great when nothing comes back from it but it’s heart in mouth when he’s doing it

It just wasnt a half that felt like 7 minutes had been taken away from it, despite it being quite boring for 30 mins.

Good half. Mostly good or better performances all around. Not a 2-0 half, but played well and had some margins going our way.

Really impressed with our pressing. A midfield three of Palhinha, Bentancur and Sarr is such a pain to play against.

Need to keep playing in the second. Keep pressing, keep attacking when we can.

well playing as we should, solid at the back, sit when they have it and press when they are in their own half.

Sarr - bents and Paulinha look strong and with enough ball playing ability to hurt them when we turn it over.

Kudus is so good. So good. Richy playing well just hold it up a bit stronger in the 2nd half.

Johnson gets a goal. As someone put it last week. All bite and no bark hahaha.

If you can get through the midfield City are not great at the back. Need to be brave and keep getting at them. No hiding.

And is Ederson injured or dropped? Trafford looks weak.

Excellent organisation...lots of players in the right place. The press is proactive.

It'll be tough (considering who City can bring in) but we have a two goal lead.

(Plus it's great when we're two up as I can always throwaway a cheeky fiver on the opposition as a silver lining just in case...13/2 City)
