But after watching the club dump his manager that he had faith in, methinks all bets are off.

If he feels that the club are ready to flog him to Saudi Arabia it would not surprise me if he decides if he does that. Besides if he went on a free he could go back to Germany. There would be takers, takers that could not afford the Tottenham asking price this summer.

A club like AC Milan would easily sign Son on a free next summer. Son has options if he saw out his contract. That in itself would be a reason not to Saudi this summer. But only time will tell.

Let's not frame this as Son is now leaving because of Ange going, he's not got it at the top Level anymore, he needs to go and we need to try and get something for him and not let him walk on a free
