Son Heung-Min

So are we all praying to the Gods that S.Korea have an absolute stinker of a group phase and fail to qualify for the last 16? I know I am, however unlikely.

I want South Korea to be successful. Son deserves success and it would be great for him to achieve it with his country. I know we will miss him, but it is only for a handful of matches and, if he’s successful with his country, he will come back fired up to play for us too. I want to support him to succeed.

The way he is playing at present he could be the difference that keeps us in touch with Liverpool and Emirates Marketing Project in the likely 3 league games he'd miss, along with us securing a place in the Carabao final. So given the choice of having him play for us or him going to the Asia Cup, I'd rather support him to succeed with us.

He will miss Fulham (a), Watford (h), and Saudi Sportswashing Machine (h), at most for us in the league. Those are games that really we should be winning whether Son is with us, or not. The second leg against Chelsea will be tough without him, that will be the match in which we are likely to miss him most.

I’ve bought a Hyundai Tucson, and an LG OLED so have great respect for South Korea.

I’d be really tinkled off if either of them kept disappearing for a month or so at a time when I really needed to use them though.
If they told you beforehand - then there is no reason to be annoyed. The African Cup of nations has been shifted because people kept whining and now we are mostly angry in the motherland.

I feel let down. I asked both of them, but I’m guessing due to their inanimate object status both were not forthcoming with the relevant information:-(

The tv definitely could have told you, adopting a Bumblebee style approach to talking through delivering online screen captions to raise your awareness. I mean talk about not being grounded in the real World.

Looked like one game too many last night, yet still had a big impact on the game. Got to love his desire and heart.

I thought GKN might have played instead, at least he only played 70 minutes and has some recovery time for Chelsea. I wonder if we are less worried about running him into the ground because he'll be disappearing on international duty, sounds cynical but wouldn't surprise me.

How little must Poch rate GKN when he’s bringing George Marsh on for Son, and doesn’t even have N’Koudou on the bench!?
