Look at the squad rangers had it's absolutely nuts.
There's a great video of an interview Walter Smith did with chick young (BBC Scotland reporter) where young runs through the players and says are they good enough because you keep getting horsed in Europe. Rangers went through a spell of being knocked out of Europe twice before September, and to some really poor sides.
The squad is full of WC and CL winners, Smith goes ballistic and I can remember shaking my head at all the rangers gloating at young getting handed his arse, totally missing the point that actually a great squad led by a crap manager will still be crap.
