It's no shock to anyone out with Celtic.

This is interesting from the Scottish ref association,

Referees perform a difficult role in an intensely demanding environment.

That may have been the case years ago, but when you have three people watching reruns on video and still can't get it right then I'm sorry you lose all sympathy.

This decision aside, my impression is that Scottish refs let a lot more go than 'down south'. I am used to watching the PL and players falling over when their opponent farts near them. My frequent refrain when watching Scottish football is 'that's a free in the prem'. Southern softies.
