I suspect it is because we haven’t agreed a fee for him yet. We probably feel he isn’t a massive priority and it is unlikely other clubs interested can pay the package of City’s requested transfer fee and the player’s wages. We’re therefore letting City stew and come down to our valuation.

It’s possible he has already agreed personal terms and it’s now a case of the clubs coming to a agreement, I have seen a few different places report Tonali had agreed his personal terms a month ago and it took until last week for the clubs to come to a agreement, and that kind of ties in to what Romano says in that video about waiting on City to make a final decision.

Corluka one was partly done, Mark Hughes was blocking the deal, most of the paperwork had been agreed bar the last, which was done and announced a couple of days before we then completed the final paperwork after Hughes stopped crying.
Nkoudou I don't even remember the deal so maybe you are right.
But ultimately given the number of leaks in footballing circles, if Sav was agreed already, I am sure there would be more about it TBH.
