Knee jerk reaction, but I think it's vital we get Savinho and/or Eze. It really showed when Kudus went off tonight that we don't really have anyone else in the squad that can carry the ball forward and hold on to it whilst being dangerous.
Given we don't have prolific strikers, I think this is a vital part of the game for our squad going forward.

You pay what the selling club is willing to accept. Otherwise you don't get the player. So if City don't accept £50m what then? Walk away?

Aye I'm not saying we should even pay it but there's kind of no point arguing about it. City don't want to sell the player so if we are genuinely interested we need to entice them to make the sale and that going be by making them an offer they feel like they can't refuse. Now what that figure is, only City know but I can't see it being cheap considering his age and performance level already.
Btw he's quite a different entity to the players you mentioned. Casimiro was clearly moving into last leg territory so a bad move there and Anthony was just crazily over priced, he was only ever an ok player. Savio is levels above him already.
