Savinho

I appreciate that football is a game of opinions but what is the evidence for your assertion?

And you want to use him as an attacker???
just what i see on the pitch - he is fast and do 1 v 1s
maybe with a back three we will see him more in attack than in defence

The obnly reason with the Tel comparison is because Spence was being touted as an effective replacement for him without the need to buy Savinho...

But no problem...

I get why you did it but what are Spence's 'attacking' figures based on? He has hardly, if ever, played anything further forward than a WB. The Poro comparison puts the figures, and Tel's, in context. Much appreciated.

The main tactic under Frank was get the ball to Porro and pump into the box no matter where he was on the pitch. Wouldn't be reading too much into stats like that based on last season.

I think its alot of money for a player with so many of those questions over his head. Given we have Tel and Odobert in that area and both have similar question marks, I would think its a risk NOT worth taking

Not aiming this at you, but I suspect the demand for him in the wider sense comes because he would be new. I personally struggle to see it with the lad I really do
I agree about the price, it's a huge amount to pay for someone coming off a bad season. Would I pay it for Girona Savio? Yes. For City Savio? No.

So I guess it comes down to how strongly we believe that we can get the earlier performances out of him.

Honestly, I just think he is too close to the development two we have and seeing the strategy we have for others, I am not sure its worth it

Happy to be wrong of course,
