I think there are better options for sureBack to Tonali...
£80m rejected, if we're going higher than that would there be better options available?
But it’s about RDZ and what he wants

Better options or better available options? Because that differs. Vitinha is a better option, but would he leave PSG to join us if we had a £100m bid accepted? I would expect a Rivaldo style envelope appearing on the desk.I think there are better options for sure

You're entitled to your opinion mate. I don't really see what he has brought to the team that wasn't already there and in terms of passing & progression of the ball he's a downgrade and part of why their play has become so slow and laboured since.
Not sure if this was sarcasm Bill, but I thought you asked a good question - just think anyone valued higher than Tonali is at a big club already and out of our reach. Is there anyone you've got in mind?Yeah you're right silly me let's just park the thread until we sign him or move on to someone else
Stiller is the underpriced oneBack to Tonali...

Yeh, he is good, he isnt this so called world class monster people make out he is.Yeah I mean he's clearly a top level player and excellent at certain parts of the game - my disagreement was that he transformed their midfield. I don't think that's true. I actually think their midfield has regressed/stalled somewhat over the past couple of seasons though that's more down to the managers approach i supppose. City & Liverpool have both regressed recently - if they hadn't Arsenal probably don't win that title last season
Wharton for meBetter options or better available options? Because that differs. Vitinha is a better option, but would he leave PSG to join us if we had a £100m bid accepted? I would expect a Rivaldo style envelope appearing on the desk.
I am struggling to think so is realistically available, who could offer more then Tonali.
Back to Tonali...
£80m rejected, if we're going higher than that would there be better options available?
He is a quality playerNot that I pay much attention, but all my goon mates will tell you Rice is their best player.
What have they said? It's probably fee and terms. That may be 80M including add ons or payment structure.
In my opinion, you read how clubs respond re rejection of bids, to me, how Saudi Sportswashing Machine has pushed back is one of those "it will happen" type responses.
Re Wharton/whoever, think a few people reported it's Tonali +another
Some people just want to complain I guess. What's funny about some of our supporters is that they -
a) complain that we never spend money
b) complain we won't spend the big wages
c) complain we don't ever sign the big players
d) then complain at the thought of spending the big money
e) then complain we're overpaying for an average to good player
f) then complain the board is getting their pants pulled down and doesn't know what it's doing
g) then complain that they're spending money in areas it isnt needed
...among other things.
It's laughable!!!
It really is!
I think Partey is just as good if not better but his injury record was faaaaar worse which I guess makes up for it.Yeh, he is good, he isnt this so called world class monster people make out he is.
His influence on Arsenal is also overstated IMO, finished 2nd the season before he joined, they also had a drop in points in his time. He is a good player in a very good side.

Yep, I just dont think Rice moved the Arsenal needle to the level people make outI think Partey is just as good if not better but his injury record was faaaaar worse which I guess makes up for it.
The volume of their actions is certainly risingWe may not get Tonali especially if Emirates Marketing Project are sniffing around but it seems the Lewis Family are keeping their word in their end of season message to fans. Manager has been backed with Van Hecke, who is clearly his choice now a record bid for Tonali.
This will require investment – in our teams, the academy, our backroom functions and more - and we are fully committed to this. We are not selling the Club. We are all in. We are investing in it. You will see more of this in the coming months.
We care deeply about Spurs. The rebuild the Club needs, and you deserve, has begun. The change required is deep. It will take time and commitment, but change is happening.
We know that actions will speak louder than words.
