This 100%.Welcome to Spurs Ryan. Please disregard all negative comments on the site. We will be 100% behind you once you put on the shirt. You have shown throughout your career that your effort and commitment cannot be questioned. You were my favorite player at DC United. Such a good reward to be finally playing at a top club at the end of your career.
I really don't understand how posters on here can say this is a 'brick signing' etc etc when they don't know the circumstances behind the deal.
No idea why we signed him, it makes me think that the club is in trouble financially if the likes of QPR, Fulham and Bolton are all out there splashing the cash whilst we settle for 2 players, neither of whom any of us wanted, who are too old and cost nothing. We made a transfer profit in the August window, we made a transfer profit in the January window... how long before we enter administration and get deducted ten points?
You're probably right! We haven't spent much cash over recent years yet we've managed to increase our league position gradually! Yet, if/when Levy announces that we're starting to build the new stadium because of such economical balance the same posters that wanted us to bring in expensive players will praise him.I do its because most of the posters have no clue and sit at home never attending matches playing football manager all day and think its easy running a football club

Bassong might not have wanted to play for this club and caused a rift in the dressing room - leaving the management with the issue of bringing a new player in. There might not have been many available for a reasonable price, and the chairman might not have wanted to spend a lot of money on a player that might not been scouted properly/may not work out to the desired level.
No point bringing the likes of Caulker back from loan when he would hardly play anyway - he's doing well over there and will hopefully become another figure like Walker who spent a good time at another club to then shine at Spurs.
Feeling frustrated that we didn't get a marquee signing and that it looks like the club could be in trouble financially.
