Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Maybe he didnt want the role, but I would have 100% had his as striker number 2 this season as said at time. I get the PL and EFL is different but that works all ways (we have often wanted players from that league).

Shame really but its gone

I think he would have been over the moon being one of 3 players for CF at a PL club at this stage of his career.

With hindsight, come the end of the season, he will probably be more than happy at being pushed out

The lad is class
Could see the first time I saw him play
He has the instinct and positioning that you can’t just coach
People think I’m nuts but his style of play is so much like kanes was when he emerged
Cross body shooting
Playing it wide and attacking the box
Straight shooting to corners
I said he would score 30 plus goals this season and be is well on the way

And some people on here thought it was a good deal because the add ons will take it to £20m. What nonsense. He has 7 already, barring injury he will score over 30 in all comps (could easily see him doing that in the league). Already looks the best player in the Championship. If he is sold it will not be for less than £50m, mark my words. He scored against Galatasaray when he was 18, and has only got better since then.

I think he will take over from Kane as England's centre forward in 2-3 years.

There were three deals I didn't think made sense for all various of reasons, he was one, Vuskovic the other because of all number of reasons and then Bergvall, we did 2 out of 3, it is what it is, but I think they lacked vision and overall logic. But I am not the manager or decision makers, so it doesn't matter, just saying like

3 players that'd count as club trained if we were to ever qualify for europe again too

I get triggered each time I see he has scored another goal.

And people say oh, it does not matter because we have a matching clause. But there is no guarantee he chooses us in the future.

he's playing in a different league, there is a massive difference in level

not saying he won't be a successful PL forward in the future, but banging them in in the Championship has not always been an indicator of that

just had a look at the last 5 years of the championships top scorer's, and I've not heard of 4 of them

He has room to grow and he has attributes you cant easily coach. As long as he remains hungry to grow, that kid will be good.

Suffice to say I am very confident he will not struggle to score goals in the EPL next season.

100% and I don't think anyone would deny that, but keeping someone as a back up who knows the game is young and keen whilst we are left with what ever is going on with Richy and celebrating the 20m fee, I think there is a balance.

We have taken this Chelsea bloke with a view of "whats to lose" I think keeping Lanks was very much that

Yes I would have kept him too to be honest.

I’m just saying that championship goals are easier to come by, the force may be strong, but he is not a Jedi yet.

RDZ says Gallagher has a good game today. I did not see it myself. He played as a number 10, and did not look like scoring nor did he show any creativity or invention. What he did do however was run around alot.

We are the first team above the championship for the last two seasons :)

In the Europa against Galatasaray when he was about 18
Yep
Also got sent off
Imo 30 championship goals would be about 15 in the prem
Of course if helps if your playing for a better side in each division
One issue people forget is the team egging promoted rarely create many chances when they get up so it can make a striker look weaker than he did previously
