Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Did you expect him to join and say Frank was going to be a terrible manager for him? 🤣

Why is anyone taking what a player says about a teammate or their new manager seriously. They are going to make positive comments because that's what's expected of them and even then what you expect doesn't mean it actually going to play out that way.

The question was whether players spoke highly of Frank upon joining; someone said they didn’t think that was the case, I thought Frank deserved the props for Gallagher at least saying positive things when he joined. It’s different for example to when Porro was interviewed after the Liverpool draw and the interviewer was trying to give him a lay up to say that Tudor had improved things, but Porro just outright refused.

I thought Frank, or at least the reality of a player speaking positively of him, deserved to be stated in this specific conversation because that was the question at hand. To be clear though, I completely agree with you, I don’t think Frank had any serious pull on actually convincing players to join us. I think the increased wage budget does that. And I think De Zerbi does it. And we know Ange did it with Tel and others, I thought Frank was terrible and I thought the way he had us playing would actively put players off. Even if we outbid City for Semenyo’s wages I can see him looking at us last season and saying hell to the no.

Aren’t Sandro and Ledders ambassadors? They are stood at the window looking in at all the fun and joy like a couple of orphans.

It's people that played for, some who knew really dark times, and who all still seem to have a deep connection with club.

Important to have them, to have players realize 30 years from now, there could be a home for them if they give their all now

Richardo Rocha is welcome to come back to the club any time he wants. Just take issue with the term legend.
