He looks to be working harder and motivated, but I just don't see the quality there

On the one hand I think I'd try to play him upfront with Richie...or one just off the other.
On the other hand with just 4 games left it feels so risky to experiment with systems.
That said, the current system is hardly looking an attacking force.

Could not agree more, he IMO is a complete waste of space and i really, really, hope we are not thinking of making it any longer. He looks to be working harder and motivated, but I just don't see the quality there

I did post that well over 2 weeks ago, and 3 days after Solanke went off injured Vs Wolves. So down to bare bones as forward options. Persisting has paid off....I think??!I'm thinking here that this system has just got us DWWD in a run where we could have even got anything from 2 to 4 points more. I think we've been good for these 8 points and it has built us a 2 point cushion. We've certainly seen personnel change up front with the losses of Simons and Solanke but kept on trucking.
So perhaps RDZ should keep tightening and enhancing the current system as the best strategy to stay up. I think we have to stick with the Tel, Richi, Muani trio even if Solanke is back. Dom isn't anywhere near a force at the moment, probably due to his constant injuries. He can't seem to ever get really fit to find match fitness and therefore top form.
I agree. I think there's a player in there, but fudge being the ones to try and drag it out.We must never consider turning that loan to a permanent deal in any scenario. Spurs don't need these flakey players moving forward.

was supposed to be eze but not enough due diligence and left it too late and no plan BHe looks to be working harder and motivated, but I just don't see the quality there

i think RDZ should try muani up front. he is a chaos factor and retains the ball better than richy. So perhaps RDZ should keep tightening and enhancing the current system as the best strategy to stay up. I would try it, but the problem is although Muani isn't a RW he is the only fit option we really have for the RW unless we play Spence or Porro there?i think RDZ should try muani up front. he is a chaos factor and retains the ball better than richy.
There was a lot of calls, as there always is when any team is doing badly, to "throw in the kids, they'll be better and care more" during our bad run. What you said, and I'm feeling the consistent team selections behind our forwards has made a difference. It's not been great news for Archie but the solid midfield pivot and Gallagher at 10 is part of this new formula.
Think you’re in the wrong thread?was supposed to be eze but not enough due diligence and left it too late and no plan B

RDZ and the last few weeks has shown that in situations like this, you can't beat experience. Lads like Bentancur and Pahlinha have been key to our little run over the last few weeks. I love Gray as a player and have a lot of time for Bergvall but sometimes, you just need someone who has been there and done it before.
