I'm digging that a discipline of photography is helping Ukraine save lives while winning the war. As the sun shines on minefields laid by Russians, the mines become hotter than the surrounding soil. So, the Ukrainians are using thermal imaging cameras, mounted on drones, to determine where the mines are located and giving sappers clear information about where to find them and clear a way through:

A-ha, what a great idea. You would think an AI drone with machine gun could fly over and shoot them all.
What happens to old mines, can they be 'turned off' and stored for future use e.g. in Moscow?

Ukraine have set out their terms. Seem quite reasonable.
The effectiveness of the counteroffensive is hard to determine but signs are they are making slow progress against the deep defensive line in the south. Once they are behind that then they can really put the squeeze on Crimea and the Russian forces stuck in the kherson and the west.

He will be corrected.
Putin does not understand diplomacy, you are naive if you think he will respect any diplomacy. He might smile and shake your hand, but will stab you with a poisonous umbrella on your way out of a 5th floor window.
Putin needs to be taken down, he will NEVER cow down.

We tried diplomacy when Russia marched into Georgia, we tried again when they did the same in Crimea. What makes you think there will be a different outcome this time to doing the same thing?

There will come a time for diplomacy and discussions, that time starts when there are no Russian troops anywhere on Ukrainian soil - that includes Crimea.
