Modric is in all day long. Between Carrick and Dembele for me. Loved Carrick as a player. So intelligent and underrated. England criminally underused him for years. He should have been in that midfield with or instead of Gerrard and Lampard.

But Dembele was something else. You couldn’t get the ball off him and he was a joy to watch. So Modric and Dembele for me.

If you're thinking pairings I don't think Carrick and Modric would work as well as Modric + Dembele or even Modric + Wanyama/Sandro/Parker

I'm still chuckling that the category is best centre mid of the PL years and Hojbjerg was shortlisted.

Someone is surely having a laugh right? No wonder we've suffered such mediocrity.

A 2015-2017 Eric Dier was fantastic for club and country, and he's not even shortlisted. He's not in the top 2 warranted but is surely in the top 10.
