Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Collective punishment is a legal term under international law. You can look it up if you want. You might understand it better. Also please don't interact with me. You are genuinely one of the stupidest hate filled people I've ever interacted with. I do think you are more stupid than hate filled so that gives me some hope. Have a swear at me and then eff off lad.
Keyboard raging lol. Just a post ago you said that you enjoyed it. Oooh name calling too? Hate filled is sharia, genuinely look it up.

How dare you tell someone to eff off that’s got to be racist… because it’s the only defence I have left.

This was the more thoughtful proposals based on ethnic grounds, before the British-French carve-up:

Unsure how that avoids the future conflict other than renaming the future conflict "Israel" vs. "Syria" rather than "Israel" vs. "Palestine"

Well Omagh was pretty comparable. But both sides took the bigger option at that juncture and pursued peace and stability instead. Whereas Israel killed Yitzhak Rabin and went fully pariah
Omagh wasn't even close. NI was never under any serious threat from Ireland - not until Blair misplaced his gonads and started hiding under Mo Mowlam's skirt.

Well it’s always been Iran and their proxy terrorist organisations whether it be hezbolla, hamas, houthis etc that swear to wipe Israel off the map. So in a round about way, there is always going to be conflict in the Middle East unfortunately.

If Palestine came under Israel, the people that currently live in Palestine would be better off rather than live in a state ran by terrorists. The Arabs that live in Israel are proposing and love Israel.

I’m not saying a land grab is good but for the good of humanity it’s a tough call.

Am I right in thinking the philistines were Greek and that name was given by the Romans?
A two state solution is a lovely dream. In the real world, a Palestine run by Israel/the US is the only workable one.

Will never happen as long as Iran is puppeteering. I’ve seen videos of Arabs and mainly Palestinians that are genuinely thankful for living in Israel. Hamas has hijacked Palestine and their people are suffering for it. Israel keep saying to return the hostages and they will end the conflict. I don’t know what their intentions are, but Hamas cannot exist.

Yeah and behind Iran has been the Russians, just as we are behind the Saudis. I was born in ex-Aden (south Yemen) during the civil war with the north (the Houthis - Iran/Russia backed) vs. US/British/Saudi backed government forces.....was all cold war related gonads back then and a lot of it still is now.

I mean isn't it f*cking convenient that Hamas kicked off the biggest of all sh*t storms in the middle east just as the US was ramping up arms supplies to Ukraine which were allowing them to close the manpower superiority with Russia....US has prioritised weapons stockpiles for Israel ever since.

Oh and just after that happened, suddenly Syrian jihadists suddenly become well trained and equipped enough to overrun Russian backed Assad forces and we are all now told said Jihadi is now no longer a threat or a terrorist because he's been a useful idiot for the west in the global war game with Russia/China and co.

Hope it doesnt bite us like training and arming Al Qaeda to fight the Russians in Afghanistan did....

Again they created that mess. Tehran used to be called the Paris of the east until the Islamists took over. Now it’s gone backwards with its regime and laws (take a wild guess which one).

That country is oil rich and could be a world superpower if it was free and traded its assets and resources in the open market. The general public would live infinitely better under a democratic nation rather than what ever toss they have currently in place.

I believe Russia also backed the Syrians and the PLO during the Lebanese civil war which meant that the Islamists butchered their way into ownership of the country. It’s a mad world

The point was that we screwed it up to start with by creating Palestine and Jordan (for UK) and Syria and Lebanon (for France), when it should have been a single Levant nation state. Palestine also wouldn't have been so susceptible to Israeli colonisation had the 4 states been united.

But in the same turn, Israel would have been susceptible to being obliterated. There is enough land for everyone to live normal lives there.

Islamists just need to get it in their head Israel is not going anywhere.

Well I know in Syria Islamists are committing genocide against the Druze people currently .. so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Israel would never accept a democratic one state solution as the population is currently 7 million jews to 6.5 million arabs across the wider area. the demographic 'time bomb' until a non-jewish majority would be unacceptable.

Also, whilst a majority (60% in one survey 56% in another) of Israeli Arabs were happy to be Israeli in 2017 it wasn't a super-majority and opinions seem, for some unknown reason, to have shifted in the last few years.
