fudge me ... anticipates the usual English flimflam about DoF's

The only lesson Levy needs to learn is NOT to call the position a DoF (regardless of what the fudge the person does)

Spurs is business that does over 100M+ of business per year, there will be multiple people with multiple roles ... if we feel the club/levy/poch needs help and this guy is the answer .. so be it ...

Doesnt matter what Levy calls it. Fans will still call it DoF

Strategic oversight of transfers. Poch doesn't seem that interested (he's a proper coach), and Mackenzie, Mitchell and Metcalf are more analysists.

And as Jordinho says - a DoF is director of medical, academy, secretariat and coaching, as well as scouting.
 
Well the guy has definitely done a great job at Inter. Works for me!

Levy will have/has a lot on his plate.
