Perry Suckling to QPR

THFC6061

Paul Robinson
Tottenham Hotspur's Academy goalkeeping coach Perry Suckling has left the club after 13 years to join Queens Park Rangers as their Academy Manager.

Perry was also Spurs stand-in first team goalkeeping coach before the appointment of Tony Parks.

I'm sure all Spurs fans will join me in wishing Perry the very best of luck in the future.

Meet Perry Suckling

We didn't have any decent goalkeepers coming through our academy since Ian Walker. So don't think we will miss him.

He must of had something about him to be there 13 years. If he didn't have talented keepers to work with in the first place there's only so much he can do, so not sure that's a fair way to judge him...

Agreed.

All in all a positive sign that our youth staff get poached for jobs with more responsibility elsewhere. It's because our youth work is excellent and others are looking to emulate us.

good point, although he's gone to a club Redknapp just left, it's possible he's the academy director, academy tea boy, academy caretaker, academy accountant etc etc
