Do I not like that...

The clear risk of rotating too much is if it backfires and we somehow went out, you'll be saving the players for what? This comp probably is our season.Something like that for me too. There's a clear risk with rotating that much, but to me there's a bigger risk imo with rotating less (injuries, exhaustion plaguing the rest of the season).
Quality on the bench to turn it around if needed.
I think we will be fine with Winks and Sissoko but probably Jose won't risk it.Sissoko and Winks? Are you insane??
I think i'd onl;y change to that perhaps in the second half if the game if we have increased our aggregate lead...

We are playing Dinamo Zagreb, PEH is suspended and Ndombele needs a rest. Only available options are Sissoko and Winks, which should be fine, this is not Real Madrid. With the current form of PEH and Ndombele, they would both have to have absolute shockers for it to be a downgrade imo.
That is the risk I personally think we have to live with. The clear risk of rotating too much is if it backfires and we somehow went out, you'll be saving the players for what? This comp probably is our season.
1.i don't really think we'll go out
2. We obviously still have the LC final...and all the star faces will be ready for that.
That is the risk I personally think we have to live with.
I think it's too early to put all our eggs in the EL basket. We've already seen Son go down with a muscle injury, another key player or to going down could really hurt our chances in all competitions. And further exhausting our key players will only increase the chances of more lacklustre performances.
Definitely open to being wrong. Strong team tomorrow, strong team against Southampton, two good performances and no injuries that gamble will have worked. But to me it seems like the wrong gamble to take.
With 5 subs available we can have enough strength on the bench to be fairly confident of turning things around if needed.
I wouldn't start Ndombele either BUTWe are playing Dinamo Zagreb, PEH is suspended and Ndombele needs a rest. Only available options are Sissoko and Winks, which should be fine, this is not Real Madrid.
Cheers for the correction on Sunday. As a theory ..
I think 3 or 4 changes at most so not to disrupt the flow of the team (that's if we have any in the first place) is best, with further rotation happening within games as and when the scoreline allows.
I think we have already been doing this, with the exception being Son, Kane, Hojberg (Kane did get time off with his injury). Villa Sunday btw.
We have played a lot of games already this season BUT I don't immediately put lacklustre performances down to it (ie tiredness), when in the previous 2 games that week tiredness didn't for one moment look an issue.

3 or 4 changes, maybe, but depends on who those changes are. Hojbjerg is suspended so that's one key player, Son injured so that's another key player sitting this one out.
Kane and Alderweireld in particular for me would be a big risk to start again. Ndombele perhaps, he's played less, but I'm guessing he also has a lower fitness level.
Their freaking coach is in prison. Our bench players are more valuable than their first 11. We will be fine. This tie isn't over until we get an away goal.
I assume you’ve not watched us play before....Their freaking coach is in prison. Our bench players are more valuable than their first 11. We will be fine.
