Better than anticipated I must say. Pressing looks a little better, still dodgy at the back though. Probably deserved to go in level, so more than happy with 2-1. Think we will need to score again to avoid defeat, our defence and Wolves have AT LEAST one more goal in them

LOL at the spacegoating.

There's a mix up, Dier deals with it and some still find a way to blame him.

Dier is the goalside, closer and further forward of the two, that's his tackle all day long. He took so long sanchez had to get involved, if he'd taken action when he should have none of that happens

Well that was an Aurier highlight reel in 45 minutes. A decent cross for the first, poorly positioned at times both defensively and offensively, misplacing easy passes and a goal of great quality.

Once again, you can see the tactics and formation are sound enough.

It's individual mistakes that is killing us, not the manager.

We badly need a link-up player in midfield though, in my opinion, Winks being tidy, but he just doesn't want to take any chances on risky passes going forward - N'dombele would (not necessarily saying I'd switch Winks for Ndomb, think Winks has been good, but we need a link up man).

Not a bad half overall. Good goal by Serge. Dier has been decent. Lucas playing so much better when he's on the wing/in the channel. I like Mourinho using Dele as a sort of striker/false 9 as well, suits his game so much better.

Have to say I disagree. I think we've been significantly the better side and the stats show this too. We deserve to be in front and would be even more comfortably so were it not for a stupid defensive mix up.

Also, Alli needs to stay up top, looked much more effective with him there rather than dropping deeper.

His passing sometimes is so poor.

If Dier commits he leaves the entire centre open - have you ever played football?

Sanchez is the type of CB that needs a leader beside him and Dier is playing there for the first time in I don't know how long.

I can understand the reasoning for the selection of the CB's too. Dier and Tanganga have for the most part dealt with Traore when he's looked to go outside them, something both Jan and Toby wouldn't have imo. Aside from a few wobbly moments Tanganga has had a good half. He's been really physical letting their front men know he's going to be on them, something I wish Sanchez would do, who has been outmuscled at times by a player smaller than him.

Did most of this Wolves line-up play Thursday night. If so, I am hoping fatigue might kick-in as the games goes on

The BBC live feed also seems to think we're lucky to be ahead.

64% possession.
9 shots vs 8
5 on target vs 1

Gazzaniga hasn't had a save to make has he? Am I missing something?
