**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

Totally agree with what harr1984 said. Another problem for us is that over the past 2 to 3 seasons we have been pretty bad/average to say the least and I think we have a very average squad and that the bar is quite low at the moment. I can`t be the only one but I was quite optimistic after our spending spree(even though I think we have overpaid for players as usual) but that is the market and transfer fees and wages will only go up further. We got to give RDZ time, we`ve been playing ok but up until Coventry didn`t look like we would put the ball in the net. We played ok against Man U but only got a draw. We have bigger tests to come so it will be interesting to see how we progress.

Another thing while I am waffling on, I can`t get to as many games as I used too ditto my oldest boy. Now every time he gets to a game I think over the past 5 seasons of all the games he`s been to he has only seen us lose once in that time. Anyway he got a ticket at the last minute for the Coventry game for his first visit to the Lane this year and now all his mates are trying to get a ticket for him for Stamford Bridge lol. I don`t know if he is a lucky charm but I think it`s just luck judging how our home form has been of the last 2 to 3 seasons

Think Kudus is a bit overrated by many on here to be honest. Hes not quick at all for a winger, he seldom accelerates past the full back. He is strong and has a technically decent left foot, but his numbers in the Premier League are average at best....

Disagree, he's quick enough to beat most players, his dribble success rate is top 5 in Europe, physically strong, can be an outlet to retain ball.

The issue is we need to leverage him for what he's good at (as with all players)

- Teams will double up on him, so what do we do with the space that creates?
- He's a much better player with a legitimate FB behind him, think to him and Porro early in Frank's tenure, it was the only part of the team working.
- The forward needs to make himself available for that pass, so many time Kudus gets to edge of box and Solanke simply isn't making himself available.

Kudus like most of our team (minus probably Maddison/Xavi/Deki) can't change a game by themselves, but can be very good in the right system.

Savio left, Kudus right, with Maddison in the 10, and Tonali and Fernandes/Bentancur behind will create lots of issues for teams, and they can't double up on all 3, so we need to learn to exploit the space.

A CF is our biggest issue now, now Kudus or any of the other wingers
