His lineups so far have been deeply unconvincing for me and sadly the results have matched. Obviously the managers can and should pick whomever they think is the best choice but if it's not working then it leaves him open for questioning and his first mis use and now non use of Fernandes is leaving him with tons of questions.

Dont wanna be depressing Dolly, but I still fail to see how we are suddenly gonna start scoring loads.
Unless the keeper has a mare and the defenders tap out. And even then we will still need 5 chances to score.

The Fernandes thing is clearly a culture and standards thing. He’s gonna be a huge player for us. He just needs to do more of what RDZ wants. It’s probably that he’s playing like too much of an individual and not working in the system. He’ll learn, or he won’t and he’ll be out. But it’s probably an adjustment to come from being by far the best player at Saints and West Ham to having to fit in a more structured side here.

Is funny though that Tonali said he was speaking to Matheus and they both agreed the system was easy. Clearly not 😂

We are 6 games in and he's a new signing who has started 50% of games and came off the bench in every other game. It's a bit of a stretch to say he's not playing him, and not the first player who signs for a new club and takes a while to earn a regular starting spot...

He's on the bench so I don't buy it. He's just picking Gray ahead of him which is a bit of damning indictment of Fernandes if he can't get ahead of Gray in midfield.

The games he played he was used in the unsuited 10 role and since then when he's had the opportunity to play him in midfield he's not used him, so yes for me it does make me wonder why we bought him.
