We had one who could both defend and pass not so long ago. Wasn’t too popular around here iirc.

We are not organised in our press or in defence.

Marmoush is a quality pakyer
He is not a CF
He wants the ball and to move with it
And we had Porro make all those crosses in the first half to no one
Because we didn’t start with one
It’s football being made complicated with false 9s and invented brick

If Solanke starts the game instead of Marmoush the scoreline is still the same. I don’t think this is to do with who is playing up too.

Bro Tel didn't fail in those attacks because there was no one to pass to. Watch them again, he just kept losing the ball to Hall, he passed to no one . He shot directly at the defenders legs on a fast break. Those things had nothing to do with Marmoush's positioning. They were all individual failings of Tel.

I get it you want a striker and I don't disagree. But you're trying to make today's situation fit your narrative and it's just not the case today (it might be in future games, but not today).
