***OMT*** Tottenham Hotspur v Man Utd*** Europa League Final Wednesday May 21st, KO 8pm

This is the Europa League.
This is the Europa League Final.

Just to help maybe refocus your perspective, here are our Europa League stats during this tournament.

Steff you really haven't got this Spurs supporter thing, you're not negative enough, more doom and gloom before a cup final please.

Yeah our first choice defence has barely played together
But when they do, we do well
It’s a fact
You keep on talking about the league but not including all the other games we have played this season
And that defence… despite what you may think has been very good together even in the league
I would go to the effort normally of finding the data for you, but TBH I think you have made your mind up regardless
We do not do well at restricting chances and shutting out the other team. We do much better as an attacking force with our first choice defence as they are much better FOOTBALLERS than the second string. Porro and Udogie are much better creatively and in doing Ange's "inverted" attacking than the other full back options. Romero is great at pinging an early accurate ball in to set an attack up. VDV is great at running the ball out of defence and creating overloads (as he did v. Utd). What they are not convincing at, individually or collectively, is defending. Whichever defence we put out, we will invariably give up high quality chances and we usually concede.

We don’t but you carry on

I'd go

---------------Vicario
Porro--Romero--vdV--Udogie
--------Biss------Sarr
--Tel-------Bent-----Richy
-----------Solanke

Tel and Richy over Johnson and Son are absolutely vital. We need aggression to batter their flaky defence.

Sarr just edging Gray as the second part of the pivot.

Bentacur and Sarr are the ones who will press
But I wouldn’t play tel out of position in a final
We have a real dearth of options on the right

Every night I click on the fotmob website and check the games that are on that night.

Then later, I click 'tomorrow' to see the games tomorrow.

In 22 minutes I shall click 'tomorrow' and...

I like the shape of that TBF...early aggression and then Johnson and Son second-half to run at a tiring (and poor) defence...got a feelking he will start Sonny though!

And we have a 100% winning record when facing English opposition in finals when this very cup has been up for grabs!
