+++OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool+++

Why does he not know exactly what the injury is?
If they are concussed then absolutely they should be kept out for whatever the safety rules set down. Which means they can’t be back for the CL game? I know/have read that UEFA does not have the same concussion protocol as the PL, but regardless, player welfare has to come first, so if the PL rules are more stringent, we should follow those.
Our luck though…. It’s like a curse.

Absolutely fudging unreal.
They may make it back as the 10 days ends Saturday week but knowing our luck the PL will change the rules to 11 days!
You do have to laugh. It’s fudging ridiculous. After everything else that happened the other night, for two senior players to take each other out of the Dipper game at the end is horrendous luck.

Someone from Tottenham fudged Fate’s girlfriend and we’re paying for it.

Ok, I'll take the plunge...and subsequent abuse!!
Competition: Premier League
Venue: Anfield, Sunday March 15th 2026
Kick off: 16:30

Team, Tudor 3-4-1-2
------------------------Vicario---------------------
-----------Danso-----Dragusin----Spence----
--------Porro---Gallagher---Sarr---Tel
-----------------------Simons--------------------
--------------Solanke-----Richarlison-----
Defence is their weak spot, hit it direct to Solanke and Richie and into the channels and get support from Xavi, Porro and Tel.
Defend when we have to and try to be organised and mark the opponents in our box ffs!!
Feel free to add custard, etc.

So no Romero or Palhinha now, unbelievable really.
Gallagher doubtful with a fever too.
Sarr and Dragusin in then and a bench full of kidz and 3 gk's

Lets hope we at least play 4 at the back - at least we should have Romero and VDV back for the run in even if they aren't in great form it's still our best pairing.

Honestly, on current form and the players available, I would find a way of getting Danso on the pitch, even if that means VdV playing LB.

But yes, agree on switching to a back 4 and playing a system which everyone knows and feels comfortable in.

Don't worry about abuse, no one expects wins these days anyway. This is a no risk, only rewards operation for you.

Idk, but surely having only 11 fit outfield players is some sort of mitigating factor?

If we weren’t signing anyone in January we really should have brought one or two of these lads back then to fill the ranks.
Pretty sure you can only recall a loan during a transfer window and it also depends if a recall option was included in the original agreement. Seems the only exceptions are for goalies , if all you goalies are injured then you can bring someone in.
Problem at Spurs is that we have plenty of available fit U21's but none of them seem of the standard required for the PL.

A year ago, around this time, we were just as poor a team as we are now but at least during the Europa League games, we defended doggedly and that's how we went all the way and won it. It's not the greatest competition in the world and we didn't face some of the best teams but if the players could find that fight back, I'm pretty sure some of the teams we'll be facing between now and the end of the season aren't better than Eintracht, AZ or Bodo/Glimt...
