No effort to support Tel there
I’ve been willing to give him a chance as I like his endeavour but he’s simply not good enough. No cutting edge at all.
No effort to support Tel there
I don't really agree. I haven't seen any real lack of effort from the players or the leadership group in particular. I've seen lots of poor performances, stupid decisions and just our right brick play, but not a lack of effort.
So basically quite like Tel.
It’s why I think we’ve done ok in Europe. We’ve been fairly reffed and not constantly pulled back for all manor of things during play and then there’s also the big decisions.
For as long as I can remember in the league this season refs have given pretty much everything against us and there’s been nothing said. We’re a very easy team to referee ‘against’.
That’s one of the benefits of paying big money for a known manager and some experience on field. All of a sudden officials become accountable.
Can't blame him in that instance. He did well to get the ball forward but got isolated as nobody tried to support him.I’ve been willing to give him a chance as I like his endeavour but he’s simply not good enough. No cutting edge at all.
Unless there is another window coming up, it won't matterThe silver lining to a defeat here is that surely Tudor goes.
No cutting edge but simply can't keep the ball at all. I'm not sure if even once the ball has made it to another Tottenham even once when he's had the ball.I’ve been willing to give him a chance as I like his endeavour but he’s simply not good enough. No cutting edge at all.
I’m not a massive Tel fan, I’m indifferent to him and indeed to 95% of this squad. The main reason I appreciate him putting effort in is because he has to be on the pitch to do it, not sitting at home due to an injury, or yet another macaronic suspension. Our key players have really let us down this season with their availability.
You’re probably right about Tel, but I’m just tinkled off with our apparent leaders being rarely available to lead players like Tel.

Exactly. Even if there are no options, you protect the ball and win a foul. He coughs up possession too easily. No cutting edge but simply can't keep the ball at all. I'm not sure if even once the ball has made it to another Tottenham even once when he's had the ball.
