Do the U21s not have a Left back. Surely he cant be any worse v Burnley. At least play players in their natural position

But on paper Emerson is a specialist fullback primarily at least. Dragusin is a CB, I don't know how good or bad he is at RB but LB would be a 3rd position for him. I can see why that wasn't the choice made.

Werner and Kulu both guilty of arriving way too late and taking up anti goalscoring positions. Your single job at the back post is to get in the width of the posts on the 6 yard line. Really not difficult.
Doesn't matter what height you are if it's a free header and nobody making any effort to challenge

No he didn't ignore him he attempted to play him offside but Romero stayed in. There's a disconnect in how we try to play offside at times, many times there's always one defender deeper than the rest of the line.The Bissouma School of Defending

Take a look, mate. Royal has his eyes fixed firmly on the ball and he is not scanning the box at all.
He hadn't a clue where Salah was, how can he play him offside?

It's not the results. We are playing very poorly, no ideas, just passing the ball around until we lose it. No outside the box shooting, no people in the penalty to box to cross to and don't get me started on the defending. If it wasn't for VDV's speed when we lose the ball and there is a counterattack we would be even worse. We can't defend set pieces and "Mate" doesn't seem to be to bothered by concending at least one goal every match from those crosses.
