OMT * Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton *

Spursiverse. Somewhere in the weft and weave of this shirt.

I'm liking how quiet everything is about us in the mainstream media. Howling and yelling about MancU, bitching about the Atletico-City tie, Chelsea ownership mud wrestle, West Ham beating Lyon, Burnley losing their minds, Livvapewwl doin a quad - all battling for attention. No one paying us much heed. Perfect.

Anyone used the Big Green coach to/from Milton Keynes? Just seen that the trains to Euston are fooked, considering coach - in particular, how long is the journey back, 2.5 hours or even longer?

Might just be me but the way things have gone the last few weeks, every game from here on seems massive.
I always have hope at the beginning of every season, blind faith maybe but really didn't think this season would amount to much...... and then Conte came in.
It seems like ages since we last had Champions league football and the thought of Champions league with a well drilled and bolstered squad under Conte (yes I know his European record ) has got me very excited.
I've got butterflies already for tomorrow, a win and all the pressure is on that lot and they've not coped very well with that so far. To paraphrase Conte, smell the blood and be ruthless from here on.
COYMFS!!!

It will be a day for patience on and off the pitch. I expect our seniors to take charge and drag us over these lines the next few weeks. Davies, Dier, Lloris, Kane, Son, Hojberg to an extent too, we need the big boys to step up. Bentancur’s experience as a winner is also massive. I expect it to be edgy. Trossard and Maupey are tricky players. We need to keep Bissouma quiet/eliminate his operational space, Lampty’s and Cucurella (who is also a bit of a brickhouse) can all be tricky.
This will be tough, but I believe.

Yeah, much as I'd like to get up on my hind legs and start barking and bellowing at all sorts of football folk who pizss me right off, now is not the time. It's a boring cliche, but the team just need to prepare for the next game and have that laser focus on all the details that we know Conte will have presented to them.

I want to - and I can assure you, I have - already opened up Spurs and Arsenal's schedules - even Chelsea's FFS - and looked ahead and done all manner of mental gymnastics about this outcome and that outcome and what if we win this and they lose that and if Arsenal lose and... . No. It's simply Brighton this week. All Spurs need to focus on is just winning this game.

I haven't the slightest doubt that the players can and I firmly believe we'll win. After that, well, we'll see what comes next. Trying to parse anything more than that is simply wasting energy and time. Just look at the mixed result from the Villa game. Good win, gained in goal differential, lost Doherty.

As right as you are, you have also just described the core of life as a supporter; you have to enjoy a bit of it! My hope? That by the NLD, we are already in the CL!!!

Weather looking gorgeous today looking forward to having a few beers outside the ground from 10.30am, well up the stairs but not in the ground if you know what I mean
