Agreed he’d have been inverted under Ange. The point is that he’s a very attacking full back by nature and he stood behind Bentancur when it was crying out for him to attack.

Yeah playing like this is “controlled” if you win 1 or 2 nil. But if you lose it’s horrendous.

My concern is this tactic simply won’t work against better teams, but I guess at least we have some kind of plan.

I don't get our press, or rather lack of it. We're not sitting deep, but aren't really pressing either. Makes it so comfortable for Brentford. It's like everything is at 50%.

I think Frank knows he won't be able to make like for like subs in this game in midfield. This first half is about the clean sheet. As the game goes on then he'll have to switch to 3 at the back or do something different.
