I think its a crude analysis which ignores Richarlison playing his first game out on the left as well. You are suggesting Spence is the problem. I think that's just your bias explaining a whole heap of different things. Us giving away a free header, not scoring from a free header, and not doing much in midfield as well as Spence and Richi not linking up much, would be a more ballanced analysis.

Once again, you love extrapolating further than what is said. At no point did I blame Spence for the goal or even mention the goal. Spence is not THE problem, but hes one of the problems. Richy or no Richy every game Spence plays on the left the same problems are present., he simply can not consistently progress the ball on the left.

The one thing you can say with these uninspiring performances is they we are limiting the opposition and too. We are slightly better offensively then the low bar of Chelsea, but neither they or United actually did much either. We do need to strike a better balance somehow though,
