Regardless of team selections and effort... at the end of the day the result(s) will be due to the whims of the referees and the VAR.
I remember last year Bergvall was our best player and we were gutted he was out of the Europa Final. More recently Gray was our best player.
Recently neither have got a real look-in.
My current peeve with RdZ is (much like Tudor and Frank) he leaves subs way too late. Just as the subs are lining up to go on, the oppo score.
We need fresh legs EARLY. The heat is absolutely blistering today. We will need Gray/Bergvall/Bissouma to play a decent chunk, we can't expect Benta/Palh/Galla to run for 70 mins in this weather.

Not even sure how I feel about this…fluctuate between thinking “of course we’ll win” to “we always lose when under pressure”…
Just hoping the heat means Everton can’t be bothered, whereas we surely have to play like our lives depend on it.
