OMT - The Sh1tmunchers Derby

My team v Wham;

---------------------Kinsky------------------------
Porro----Danso-------Davies---Spence
-------------------Bissouma---------------------
---------Bentancur-------Gray----------------
Johnson---Kulusevski---Odobert

Subs: Vicario, Udogie, VdV, Romero, Sarr, Richarlison, Tel, Moore, Scarlett

Why would you play any player who is likely to get minutes on Thursday? Kulu is crucial with Maddison out. Bents and Biss with Bergvall out. Porro has a completely unsustainable number of minutes in his legs this season.

Just what logic is there to playing anyone who an injury or extra fatigue will have a consequence for Thursday?

Yet, I found myself waking up this morning thinking and sort of looking forward to the game. Not sure why, of course, seems like a reflex. Every day life is so bland I’ve just started associating it with something of a break over the years. Been a bad break lately, but still a break! Come on, Spurs, don’t get anyone injured! Seeing as it is their cup final, do you think any of them could be cynical enough to injure any of our players on purpose, Roy Keane style, just to get cred from their fans? Nah, surely not. Now watch it happen. OMT gods: I didn’t say that.

Kulu needs to get up to speed, has looked rusty since coming back. Maybe play vdv left back and Spence right back then as I don't think Ange will risk vdv's hamstrings on a artificial surface. Midfield 3, who else can play? Unless Ange drafts in the youth (which I cannot see happening) then those are the options. And with Solanke likely to miss out on Thursday I'd keep Richarlison on the bench for this one. That's my reasoning.

But why risk anyone. 16th vs 17th is irrelevant

I just watched the Bodo game back, full match, some observations:

The Spurs-biased commentary is much more pleasant than the one I got on Thursday, much more positive and relaxed and picked up on more interesting things.

E.g. VdV took both his shinpads off at around 70 minutes and just put them on the floor, then wasn't moving freely. Then played the rest of the game with them laying on the pitch 25 yards out, very odd.

Bentancur had a super impressive game, apart from the late deflection for their goal it was a masterful display.

Dom had a left foot shot blocked, and immediately felt his left buttock and was still holding it after the corner, so I think that was when he hurt his left side. He carried on for a while and went down rubbing his left thigh.

We know Bodo want to play on the break, so we didn't push up the full backs suicidally, and kept 2 midfielders ready to defend, and played it long a lot more... so why the hell don't we do that in the Prem?

West Ham XI: Areola, Cresswell, Todibo, Kilman, Soucek, Wan-Bissaka, Emerson, Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta, Fullkrug.

Subs: Fabianski, Soler, Coufal, Ward-Prowse, Mavrapanos, Guilherme, Ings, Rodriguez, Ferguson.

hate this game, their fans are pond scum........almost a lose lose fixture

Bobby Moore knew

He wanted to better himself and join the mighty Spurs

They kept him as a slave against his will and treated him like crap afterwards. Kicked him out for not having a ticket.

“There used to be a football club over there”.

Yes Bobby. I know it’s very hard to make it out from so far but what you’re looking at now is a running track.

Just to check is this on a foreign station?

My steam ain’t gone onto it just yet so starting to worry!

Unforgivable it’s not on
