OMT Spurs vs Geordies 7.30 Tuesday 10th Feb

Right then, the team who can't win at home against the team who can't win away. Another "El Sackico"..... Doctor Tottenham to cure Saudi Sportswashing Machine's blues and keep Eddie Howe in a job? or Frank's team to get a vital win, keep us out of the relegation battle and keep the Geordies moaning.
Apparently the phrase "May the best team win" is translated to needing TP (???) for one's rear. Nonsense, Spurs to battle for a hard fought draw....

Here’s the latest confirmed injury news and fitness context for Saudi Sportswashing Machine ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur (kick-off Tuesday, 10 Feb 2026):

🔴

These players are confirmed not to feature:
  • Joelinton – still out with a groin issue.
  • Fabian Schär – currently unavailable (off crutches but still sidelined).
  • Tino Livramento – thigh problem, ruled out.
  • Emil Krafth – knee injury, not available

⚠️

These players could be assessed right up until kick-off:
  • Lewis Miley (midfielder) – suffered a nasty bang to his leg; final fitness check today will determine availability.
  • Anthony Gordon (forward) – being assessed after a hamstring issue; Howe indicated they’ll check his progress today

❓

  • Bruno Guimarães has been reported as nearing a return from an ankle problem but will likely be a late decision (depending on training) — not officially confirmed as fully fit for tomorrow.

📌

  • Saudi Sportswashing Machine’s squad remains stretched through injury, meaning squad rotation or tactical adjustments are likely, especially in midfield if Gordon or Miley are unavailable

How were we playing before Romero's sending ff on Saturday?
To me it depends a lot on that...
We were decent to be fair. They started well, we then pinned them back a bit, game evened out and then Romero got a red.

I think we’ll get a win tomorrow but I was sure we’d get a result at United so not sure where my optimism is coming from.

Any less than 2 or 3 points from these two games and we are proper in the brick and Frank will be on the edge if not over it. I can’t believe Tottenham are being sucked into a genuine relegation battle. That’s unacceptable from Frank regardless of other circumstances.

I actually think we’ll win this, Saudi Sportswashing Machine away from home are really quite poor this season. If we don’t get a positive result then the Goon game could get very ugly in the stands as we’ll get f all in that one.

Spence is back apparently. So realistically, given that it's a must win:

Vic; Gray, Dragusin, VDV, Spence; Palhinha, Gallagher, Simons; Odobert, Solanke, Tel

Sarr and Muani miss out, although I would prefer Sarr to Palhinha myself.

He might well do as you say, but we look so much better having natural balance and width at full back so I would have Souza left back who looked good to me and Spence RB....

Hope we can get through a whole match without someone making a catastrophic error for a change , then we might actually win.
If he plays , target Trippier with our fastest winger, remember two seasons ago Sonny making him look quite ordinary.

Thank fudge Joelinton isn't playing, although I'm sure he'll somehow manage to injure a player or two just by being in the vicinity of the pitch.
