It is useless when you dont have the right personnel. Lennon and Bale have to be on the wings for it to work for the midfield to be stretched.

Are you suffering from the same condition as arabspur? Who said that Jelavic was world class?

And just because he might not have been a good player in Austria, he did very well in Scotland.

And, unfortunately, he's done alright so far on his debut in English football.
 
Interesting just there, Walker had space to gallop outside, and instead gave it right back to Modders. A few weeks ago, he'd have gone for that. Lacking a bit of confidence, which is Harry's forte...we'll get out of here with at least a point...

It's nothing to do with 4-4-2. It's because we have a central midfielder playing wide left, and a left winger playing wide right. It's a fudging joke.
 
The annoying thing is, Everton ain't looked that good either. They're there for the taking.

So are we unfortunately.
 
I think we were spoilt by watching our team playing beautiful football earlier in the season. Now I get so quickly frustrated by what we're seeing on days like today.
 
This is EXACTLY the type of game where someone needs to grow a pair, step up and drive forward. I name Modric

So the only thing that Forrest does well is head down and charge down the line aimlessly, and now he isn't even doing that. Great.

He bought cover for Lennon and Bale in Peinaar then he sent him out on loan.
So dont say he want allowed to bring in the players he wanted.
 
We really are lacklustre at the moment. Think we have been found out by injuries and a lack of cover. Without width, or rather balance, we lack any kind of pattern to our play. Defensively we have been a bit dodgy at all times this season but at least made up for its with our attacking play. Right now though attacking wise we aren't offering a great deal at all.
