If Wanyama is fit and on form, he can pass it well enough. Fit and on form, he can also dribble the ball forward pretty well. He should be fit if he's starting. Will he get back on track with a good performance though? Let's hope so.
Even at his best Wanyama only really laid the ball off to a nearby passer. That puts us a man down in midfield when it comes to possession.

Add Forest Gump into the mix and that's how you make a Championship midfield.

Can only hope it's minor and he's back after the international break.

I cannot remember a season like this for injuries for many many years, perhaps you have to go as far back as the days of Ghod in charge when the injury list was routinely around the 8-10 mark and included names such as perry, bunjevecic, thatcher, king, gardner, tarrico, davies, carr, korsten, anderton, freund, sherwood, leonhardsen and ferdinand too name a few.

Don’t think Big Vic likes the rain!

I disagree, at his best he could move the ball forward pretty well. It' just a matter from how far from his best he will be today. Hopefully, he's not a million miles off the pace. If he is, then at least we have players on the bench who can come on in his place and make a difference.

Might be up to Big Vic and Sissoko to run the hard yards today, with Winks or someone else coming off the bench and making the difference in the last 20 minutes. I think Poch made the right choice giving Winks a break.

Trouble was, back then, we didn't want most of those players to get fit and play.

In previous years it has taken forever for us to break down Palace's stubborn resistance at Selhurst Park. So I reckon they will aim for 0-0.
Also because they haven't won at home yet, and they've lost 12 out of 12 without Zaha.
So we're not gonna win, are we?

Pubs are such a tinkle take. I’m in the Westbourne in Westbourne, Bournemouth. And they are showing match on tiny tv in the corner. They are all over the Wales v Australia rugby match with six screens, and all the large screens dedicated to it. FFS who gives a brick about egg ball?!

Think it’s actually on more than one tv but has largely been ignored for a rugby match that no one cares about.

Anyone know how soon they add games to footballmatchesandgames or whatever it's called? I can't watch it and was thinking of catching up later
