OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Is there a competition within our squad for the "Dumbest way to get suspended" award? Kulu's 5 second long shirt pull to rack up 5 bookings rivals Yves' 2nd yellow for diving. It was Wellbeck, just let him miss it ffs..

It's absolutely a good intervention from VAR, presumably loads of bodies blocking his view but that shouldn't stop that incident being a pen. Crazy how long the review took.

Also the situation with Udogie having two players by himself to deal with for the goal needs to be investigated, that's not about missing personnel, it's just dog brick defending.

As for Johnson choosing to cut back to let the defender get goalside instead of giving Son or Richy a tap in, that was criminal.

It's a miracle we're only 2 down, slightly worrying performance.

Lo Celso for anyone in that midfield at HT. Hell, I'd even put on Dier for Royale to get some calmness at the back.

Dreadful. I don’t think any of our players have been particularly brick but all of them are 5 out of 10 bar Vicario who has kept the score respectable.

Brighton have been very good. Pressed us well to stop us playing out, played some very good football to get through us and dropped balls over our defensive line at the right time.

We’re being completely outplayed but, miraculously, we’re still in the game. Time for Ange to earn his money.

We could be 4-5 down. Yet we could have scored 2-3 as well. Johnson clear through - craps it. He could have squared the ball if he didn't fancy the shot.

Sarr almost scores a header. Son with a few openings. Many promising areas to cross from not finding our forwards.

Can we get some energy, sharpness and belief second half?
