This is why I kept saying while he was out injured why are people talking like he was some saviour and things would be so much better when he was fit. He is an underwhelming player in his own right. This is like last season when the chorus was "wait until every is back fit" the form never changed. Injuries effect us sure, but they are a massive red herring. The squad doesn't have the quality in the first place.

I reckon you could stick most of the players on the pitch into other clubs and they’d do fine, but we are definitely lacking passers in midfield in this team.
