We are in desperate need of players who can hold on to the ball when played in from the back, Marmoush and Savinho are very good at that and they help get us up the pitch.

I think that’s the issue with them and many others..lMO it’s something they don’t do

Watch some of Marmoush tonight. Love how positive he is. Clean ball striker. Will help us open up low blocks by taking shots from distance. That’s what I never understood about the Thomas Frank insistence on never taking long shots. Maybe the team does not score at a high rate but it will force the opposition defense to be wary of the possibility that opens them up.

Yeah baffled me too that idea. You’ll score 0% of shots if no one is shooting. Stats should be used to analyse after the fact not dictate how we set up
