I noticed Bentancur was playing at midnight recently, in Florida, so may be very tired. It is actually good news he was sent off, as he got a rest after an hour and will miss some other games and travel.

Also, the NLD is VERY likely to see some red cards, so it is quite good Bentancur got that out of his system, it was certainly stupid. I guess he was furious that the team he was captaining were 4-1 down to a poxy USA team.

So it could be something like this, head to head

Calafiori..........Udogie
Mosquera......VdV

Timber............Porro

Rice..................Palhinha
Zubimendi.....Bentancur

I thought he was unlucky with the way he went over the ball
 
This guy says the left back (Calafiori) has licence to roam where he wants up the left and ALSO beyond the striker* and also drifting to the right. A revelation. I didn't know that.

*They don't really play a striker.

Calafiori is keeping Lewis Skelly and Hincapie out of the starting line up.

Bentancur's foot bounced up off the ball, but he still went flying in, studs up, so it wasn't smart and always had a huge risk of that happening, for very little benefit. Stay on your feet and bully people, don't go flying in and risk that. 4-1 down to USA is a really bad look, I reckon he was fuming. I did NOT watch any of the game though!
